Generate a Random Password

Centrify's /Core/GeneratePassword endpoint allows you to generate a new random password for an authenticated user.

Perform the steps below to generate a password.

Before continuing, ensure you are familiar with:

• Starting the Authentication Process
• Advancing the Authentication

1. Authenticate the user with /Security/StartAuthentication and /Security/AdvanceAuthentication.

2. Invoke /Core/GeneratePassword:

POST https://ABC1234.my.centrify.net/Core/GeneratePassword

The Result field in the response contains the generated password.
